EMPLOYEE OF THE MONTH

Nothing gained nothing earned, that’s what I think of every employee I hire. Until recently when I had a change of heart due to a medical scare I nearly survived. My days of being the most serious and downright cold-hearted bastard boss were over, I realized how hard I was on my employees and how damaging it was on their mental health. I went into the office and snapped a photo of my most prized employee and put it onto a shirt and then gave them the shirt as a bonus for all their hard work, to show my appreciation for all their missed birthdays, holidays, and graduations (also tragedies in more fortunate cases). Those tired eyes of my once normal employee turned into the big blue marbles of my employee of the month. Their transformation was slow and thought provoking, but after the end of the day he fully transformed into my employee of the month and I’ve never seen him again without the shirt on below his neck and above his belt. He is so happy that he no longer desires more money from the overtime he is still required to work, thank goodness. – Owner
